2) General Purposes of Processing 

We process personal data insofar as this is necessary for the technical operation of the website, the provision of our content, the processing of contact enquiries, the security of the website and the prevention of misuse.

3) Which Data We Use and Why 

3.1 Hosting 

Our website is hosted on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. Hetzner provides services for us in the areas of infrastructure, storage, database and security. A data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR exists with Hetzner Online GmbH. 

The processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of our website).

3.2 Access Data / Server Log Files

When you access our website, technically necessary access data is processed by the web server. This may include, in particular, the IP address, date and time of access, the page accessed, referrer URL, browser type, operating system and the amount of data transferred.

The processing is carried out to ensure the technical operation of the website, for error analysis, to optimise our offer and to prevent misuse or attacks on our systems.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure, stable and reliable operation of our website.

The log data is stored only temporarily and is then deleted or anonymised, unless longer storage is required for security reasons.

3.3 Cookies

We use only technically necessary cookies, such as session cookies, which are automatically deleted after the browser is closed. These cookies are required for the operation and functionality of the website, for example to enable the submission of forms.

We do not use cookies for advertising purposes and do not create user profiles.

Where only technically necessary cookies are used, consent pursuant to Section 25(2) TDDDG is not required.

3.4 ​Data for Enquiries 

When you contact us, we process your data, in particular your name, e-mail address and message, insofar as this is necessary to process your enquiry.

The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as it concerns pre-contractual measures, and otherwise on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR due to our legitimate interest in processing and responding to your enquiry.

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purposes mentioned and no statutory retention periods prevent deletion.

3.5 Email Contact 

If you contact us by e-mail, we store your details in order to process your enquiry. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, depending on the content of the enquiry.

3.6 Contact Form

If you contact us via the contact form on our website, we process the data you enter, in particular your name, e-mail address and message, exclusively for the purpose of processing your enquiry.

The processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as it concerns contract fulfilment or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR due to our legitimate interest in processing and responding to your enquiry.

Your data will not be passed on to third parties and will be deleted after your enquiry has been fully processed, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

The provision of the data is voluntary. Without the required information, however, we may not be able to process your enquiry, or may not be able to process it completely.
  
4) Storage Period 

Personal data is stored only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the respective purposes or for as long as statutory retention periods apply. Once the respective purpose no longer applies or the statutory retention period has expired, the data is routinely deleted or blocked.

5) Your Rights 

Within the framework of the statutory provisions, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR.  

6) Data Security 

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures in accordance with Art. 32 GDPR to protect your personal data. Data transmission via this website is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security).

7) Disclosure of Data 

Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent, unless this is required by law or contract.

As a matter of principle, we do not transfer personal data to third countries, unless this is necessary for the operation of this website.

When clicking on external links, however, personal data may be processed by the respective external provider. The respective provider is solely responsible for such processing. Please refer to the privacy notices of the linked websites.

7.1 Automated decision-making

Automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR, does not take place.

We reserve the right to adapt this Privacy Policy in the future in order to reflect changes in the legal situation or technical changes to our website.
