The following data protection statement applies to the use of our internet projects. We attach great importance to data protection. 

The collection and processing of your personal data take place in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2) General Purposes of Processing 

We use personal data for the purpose of operating the website and for anonymised statistical recording of access figures. 

3) Which Data We Use and Why 

3.1 Hosting 

Our website is hosted on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. Hetzner provides services for us in the areas of infrastructure, storage, database and security. A data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR exists with Hetzner Online GmbH. 

The processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of our website).

3.2 Access Data

We collect server log files, such as IP address, date/time, browser type and visited pages, for technical security and optimisation of the website. Storage takes place temporarily and in anonymised form.

3.3 Cookies

We use only strictly necessary cookies (e.g. session cookies), which are automatically deleted when you close your browser. These cookies are required for the operation and functionality of the website, for example to enable form submission. We do not use cookies for advertising purposes or to create user profiles. Where only strictly necessary cookies are used, consent is not required under Section 25(2) TDDDG.

3.4 ​Data for Enquiries and Contract Performance 

When you contact us, we process your data, such as name, email and address, for contract handling pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. The data are deleted after the expiry of statutory retention periods. 

3.5 Email Contact 

If you contact us by email, we store your details for the purpose of processing your enquiry. The processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.

3.6 Contact Form

If you contact us via the contact form on our website, we process the data entered by you, for example name, email address and message, exclusively for the purpose of handling your enquiry.
  
4) Storage Period 

Personal data are stored only for as long as this is necessary to fulfil the purposes or as long as statutory retention periods exist. Once the respective purpose no longer applies or the statutory retention period has expired, the data are routinely deleted or blocked.

5) Your Rights 

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority pursuant to Article 77 GDPR.  

6) Data Security 

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures pursuant to Article 32 GDPR to protect your personal data. Data transmission via this website is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security).

7) Disclosure of Data 

Your personal data are disclosed to third parties only where this is legally permitted, necessary for the performance of a contract, or where you have expressly consented. Where service providers process data on our behalf, this takes place exclusively within the framework of the applicable data protection laws.

8) External Links 

Our website contains links to external third-party websites, for example registrars, registry operators and domain marketplaces such as Sedo or eBay, over whose content and data protection practices we have no influence. The respective operator is solely responsible for the processing of personal data on those external sites. Please note the data protection statements of the linked sites.

9) Affiliate-Links

On some pages, we use affiliate links. If you click on such a link and purchase a product or use a service through it, we may receive a commission from the respective provider.
 
Any cookies or similar technologies used to track affiliate transactions are set exclusively by the respective providers. We ourselves do not use affiliate tracking technologies on users’ devices unless this is legally permissible or the required consent has been obtained.
 
Providers of these partner programmes may include, among others, Sedo GmbH and the eBay Partner Network.  

10) Changes to This Data Protection Statement

We reserve the right to amend this data protection statement in the future in order to adapt it to changed legal requirements or technical changes to our website.
